Meet the Team

  • Don & Renee Brown

    Owners

Don & Renee have owned Casa Mia Care Center since 1994, before that Renee’s mother, Beverly, created Casa Mia Care Center in 1980.

Don: “My Philosophy has always been that Casa Mia should act like a family. We achieve this by treating & welcoming our consumers like we treat & welcome our own family.”

Renee: “For over 40 years our family run business has operated as just that, a family. I found my calling in helping others the way my mom found hers. I’m proud to carry on her legacy with each passing day here at Casa Mia.”

  • Krystal Flood

    Administrator

Krystal started with Casa Mia Care center in 2014, bringing fresh ideas & new ways of fulfilling our mission to the fore front. It was quickly realized her dedication & advocacy for the consumers we serve.

“I am in the thick of it, down in the mud with consumers. I am there in the ER, in the ambulance to get them there sometimes. I am in the appointments, advocating. I am in court, supporting. People don’t just need words, they need a hand. They need someone beside them.”

  • Lucero Haecker, B.A.

    Mental Health Coordinator

Lucero began her journey with Casa Mia as an intern from UW–Whitewater before transitioning into a valued member of our team. From the very start, she embraced our community and demonstrated a deep understanding of our philosophy of care. Lucero has become an invaluable asset, providing strong leadership in both our supportive apartments and CCS programming and consistently contributing to the success and growth of our services.

  • Tom

    House dog

There’s a reason dogs are considered man’s best friend; we will never be without a dog at Casa Mia.

Tom fills our home with smiles, laughs, barks & love. He unknowingly provides emotional support to those who are struggling & happily accepts hugs, treats & belly rubs as payment
